They say life is what happens, when you are making plans.
This blog started life as a recipe blog. I love to cook and feed people, and 6 years ago, it seemed the next logical step, to share my love of food and recipes with other interested people.
After a while, I realised I had become that food blogger that everyone hates – the one who’s story is longer than the recipe, and you have to scroll for ages to find “the good stuff”. I realised I loved, far more, writing the story that went with the recipe, than the precision needed to work out how to share my recipes.
I had also personally moved to a different phase of my life, which included finding recovery for mental health issues, and the blog just evolved…
So rather belatedly I’m rewriting my entrée post.
Gidday, I’m Chris, I still love cooking and having people around my table; I love to travel – don’t we all; and I love to share things about this beautiful country I love to call home, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
But mostly I’m here to to share my thoughts and musings as I come to grips with life… some call it thinking out loud, whatever you call it, I am grateful you have stopped by for a read.
Whakawhetai ki a koe mo te haere mai; thank you for coming along
